Home is the place where I can be creative, and make a space that inspires me in everything I do.
This is the only window into my apartment, and it is an incredibly important part of my life right now. It acts as this surreal boundary between the insular fantasy world I inhabit, and the weird little town I live in. Inside I take pictures, draw flowers, write music, cook food, play dress up, take naps, watch movies, and write in my journal. Home is where you live, where you relax, where you work. And as a DIY home renovation blogger, my home is my creation. The image above depicts the living room in our house - a room we pulled from the 1980's and, through blood and sweat, transformed into a modern living space that's all our own.

When I was sixteen years old, I took down all of the posters and magazine clippings that I had so intricately taped to my bedroom wall.
